But who was Bakal in the game to make him worthy of such opposition, I wonder?
He was an Apostle, who left Pandemonium/Terra for Empyrean, and established a tyrannical dictatorship over that land.
…Or at least, that’s what I’ve heard.
I think you’re getting Lotus mixed up with Bakal. I don’t think Bakal was an apostle but he did become a tyrant in Empyrean and oppressed all the people there, also cutting off the connection in Sky Tower that allowed the Empyrean people to travel to Arad and vice versa.
Actually, that’s not true. Bakal was an apostle that was expelled from pandemonium because his lust for power was too great, he then established his rule over Empyrean and so on so forth.
